Gorse Hill Studios Culture Club (2025)

As a part of Gorse Hill’s Culture Club, over the Easter half term holidays I facilitated a series of sessions around raising environmental awareness by repurposing items that would otherwise be thrown away, showing how waste can be transformed into sculptures and unique jewellery.

I also led a session around using lino printing to upcycle and customise old items of clothing.

During the latter half of the week, I also ran sessions around creating self portraits based around identity from clay, and using these figures to teach the young people how to make a stop-go animation with items they can find in their own homes.
